FERb 033 is a novel estrogen receptor (ER) modulator that can induce cancer cell death. It can also activate the cellular interaction between ER and estrogen, which may lead to the synchronization of cancer cells. FERb 033 has been shown to induce squamous cell carcinoma in mice. FERb 033 is an inhibitor of virus replication and induces cancer cell death by interacting with nuclear receptors.
