Product Description

L-Cyclopropylglycine is a peptide derivative that is derived from the amino acid, L-Cyclopropylalanine. It has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of endothelin and its receptor in vitro, which may be due to its ability to compete with d-Tryptophan for binding sites on the enzyme erythrocyte endothelin synthase. This drug also has antagonist activity against endothelin receptor antagonists and can be used in the treatment of hypertension.
