Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-780 from human PKFM expressed in E. coli.
PFKM(phosphofructokinase, muscle) is a regulatory glycolytic enzyme that convert fructose 6-phosphate and ATP into fructose 1,6-bisphosphate (through PFK-1),fructose2,6-bisphosphate (through PFK-2) and ADP. Three phosphofructokinase isozymes exist in humans: muscle, liver and platelet. Mutations in this gene have been associated with glycogen storage disease type VII, also known as Tarui disease. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
