Regulator of G-protein signaling 21, also known as RGS21, is a RGS family member and regulatory molecules that act as GTPase activating proteins for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. This protein inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-152 of human RGS21, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
