VPS26A also known as vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 26A, is essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also this protein is required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-327 of human VPS26A, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
