ACVRL1, also known as serine/threonine-protein kinase receptor R3, is a membrane-anchored proteoglycan whose core protein binds TGFf3 and has a short cytoplasmic domain with no discernible signaling structure. Also, this protein shares similar domain structures with other closely related ALK or activin receptor-like kinase proteins that form a subfamily of receptor serine/threonine kinases. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-118 from human ACVRL1, fused to His-tag at C-terminal expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~11.5kD (103aa) Amino Acid Sequence: DPVKPSRGPL VTCTCESPHC KGPTCRGAWC TVVLVREEGR HPQEHRGCGN LHRELCRGRP TEFVNHYCCD SHLCNHNVSL VLEATQPPSE QPGTDGQHHH HHH Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
