CD93, also known as complement component C1q receptor, belongs to a family of transmembrane glycoproteins which also includes endosialin and thrombomodulin. It is involved in various aspects of inflammatory reactions. CD93 is expressed by vascular endothelial cells and by a variety of hematopoietic cells. It is receptor for C1q, mannose-binding lectin (MBL2) and pulmonary surfactant protein A (SPA). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-580 from human CD93, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~59.3kD (567aa) 70-100KD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.) Endotoxin: ~1EU/1ug (LAL) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
