PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides (By similarity). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa25-190 from Escherichia coli PPIA, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli.
