CD226, also known as CD226 antigen isoform, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. It is an activating receptor expressed on NK cells and T cells and plays an important role in cytotoxicity of these cells against target cells. It mediates platelet and megakaryocytic cell adhesion to vascular endothelial cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa19-247 from human CD226, fused to hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell.
