CD96, also known as T-cell surface protein tactile isoform 2, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Also, it is a type I membrane protein. It is commonly used as cell markers in immune-phynotyping. This protein may play a role in the adhesive interactions of activated T and NK cells during the late phase of the immune response. It may also function in antigen presentation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-503 from human CD96, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell.
