IL17RA, also known as interleukin-17 receptor A isoform 1, is a cytokine receptor which binds interleukin 17. It is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. It is a type1 membrane glycoprotein that binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. This protein and Interleukin 17A play a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa33-320 from human IL17RA, fused to hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell.
