1-(3-Hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-propanedione 2-Oxime is an intermediate in the synthesis of 2-Amino-1-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-1-propanone Hydrochloride (A609885). 2-Amino-1-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-1-propanone Hydrochloride is derived from Metaraminol Bitartrate (M225565), which is a vasopressor comparable to ephedrine used in the maintenance of arterial pressure during spinal anesthesia.
