NHS-PEG12-Biotin is a reactant in the preparation of biotin-CTT54 ligands and multivalent PSMA inhibitor-guided streptavidin conjugates for targeting prostate cancer cells. Biotin-PEG12-NHS is a compound that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of skin inflammation, and pre-disposes individuals to inflammation. It has been used as a tracer for studies on the permeability of the skin, and it has been shown to have a high degree of permeability. This compound is being investigated for use in neonatal care because it can be used to visualize the skin barrier in knockout mice.
