Product Description

Permethrinic Acid Methyl Ester is an impurity of the insecticide Permethrin (P288500), which is synthetic pyrethroid insecticide with low mammalian toxicity. Permethrinic Acid Methyl Ester is also used as a reactant in preperation of beta-ketoesters via sodium hydroxide catalyzed crossed Claisen condensation of ketene silyl acetals and methyl esters.
