tert-Butyl Propargyl Ether is a versatile reactant with terminal alkyne group which was used in the preparation of ether and amine-functionalized internal vinylboronates by copper-NHC-catalyzed hydroboration of alkyne, propargyl alcohols and amines. tert-Butyl Propargyl Ether was also used in chemoselective and stereoselective preperation of vicinal diboronates via one-pot copper-catalyzed sequential hydroboration of alkyne in the presence of a chiral N-heterocyclic carbene ligand.
