| AIFM2 has significant homology to NADH oxidoreductases and the apoptosis-inducing factor PDCD8/AIF. Overexpression of this gene has been shown to induce apoptosis. The expression of this gene is found to be induced by tumor suppressor protein p53 in colon caner cells. The protein encoded by this gene has significant homology to NADH oxidoreductases and the apoptosis-inducing factor PDCD8/AIF. Overexpression of this gene has been shown to induce apoptosis. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
