Control Peptide for E9008-64A. Component of the exosome 3->5 exoribonuclease complex, a complex that degrades inherently unstable mRNAs containing AU-rich elements (AREs) within their 3-untranslated regions. Required for the 3-processing of the 7S pre-RNA to the mature 5.8S rRNA. Has a 3-5 exonuclease activity. Peptide Sequence: C-RTQTTSAKQEKAP Molecular Weight: ~75kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
