Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse Interleukin-20, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Positive Control, Immunogen, SDS-PAGE, WB. If bioactivity of the protein is needed, please see catalog no: 219932. Biological Activity: Determined by measuring the dose-dependent activation of STAT3 in human epidermal keratinocytes (HEK2a cells). Significant STAT3 activation is observed with ~100ng/ml of recombinant mouse IL-20. Subcellular Location: Secreted Predicted Molecular Mass: 21.3kD Accurate Molecular Mass: 21kD Residues & Tags: Leu25~Leu176 with N-terminal His Tag Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
