Gemtuzumab was generated by huminization of the murine P67.6 clone, raised against CD33-transfected FMY9S5 cells of human origin. CD33 is a transmembrane receptor expressed on predominantly on cells of the myeloid lineage, but it can also be found on some lymphoid cells.
Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD33. Manufactured using Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma hP67.6 (Gemtuzumab). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
