Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Fc gamma receptor III . Manufactured using Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma 3G8. CD16 is the low affinity IgG receptor III and binds to aggregated IgG or IgG-antigen complex which functions in NK cell activation, phagocytosis and ADCC (antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity). Applications: Suitable for use in Blocking, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
