Recombinant protein corresponding to human glucagon receptor.
Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Human Glucagon Receptor. Manufactured using Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma hGR-2 F6. Human glucaon receptor is a GPCR that is activated by glucagon and stimulates adenylate cyclase. The receptor is involved in glucose homeostasis and regulates glucose production in the liver. The antibody acts as a competitive antagonist. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
