Dylight 488 can be used to visualize the binding pattern of Sambucus nigra Lectin (SNA/EBL I+II) in cellular imaging and flow cytometry. DyLight 488 is a green-fluorescent dye that works over a broad pH range (pH 4-9). It is brighter and more photostable than many other green-fluorescent dyes, including FITC. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Dylight conjugates are sensitive to light.
