UEA I interacts specifically with blood group H type 2 antigen, which is expressed in individuals with type O blood and to a lesser degree in individuals with type A or B blood. UEA II is not blood group specific but the best inhibitors are the H type oligosaccharides. Source: Gorse Conjugate Specificity: Agarose Beads Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
