Product Description

Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa21-193 from human CD40, fused at the C-terminus with the Fc portion of Human IgG1 and with a C-terminal Avi-Tag, expressed in a HEK293 cells Molecular Weight: ~48kD Applications: Suitable for the use in study of western blots, studying protein binding, and for screening small molecules and antibodies. Other applications not tested. Assay Conditions: Reaction done according to standard ELISA BioAssay(TM) kit protocol. Buffer is PBS + 0.1% BSA. Blocking buffer is Superblock + 0.05% Tween-20. Plate was coated with 100ng/well CD40L at 4C overnight. Various concentrations of biotinylated CD40 (0-1uM) added for 2h at RT. Strep-HRP added for 1h at RT. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
