Product Description

Binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma. Mediates the uptake of IgG from milk. Possible role in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-297 from human FcRn, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in a HEK293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~14kD, 32kD Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
