Product Description

Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-407 from mouse IDO1, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~46kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and screening inhibitors. Other applications not tested. Assay Conditions: Assay was performed in 20mM ascorbate, 10mM methylene blue, 10ug/ml catalase, 100uM NaPi, pH 6.5 containing varying concentrations of tryptophan. 300ng of IDO1 was added to initiate reaction and aliquots were collected at various time points for Kyn analysis. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
