Recombinant protein corresponding to aa16-685 from Severe acute respiratory Coronavirus 2 Spike Glycoprotein S1 (SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1), fused to a C-terminal Avi-His-Tag, expressed in a HEK293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~78kD, runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation. Assay Conditions: SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein was coated on the plate for overnight at 4C, and tested for the binding to ACE2 using ACE2-His, Avi-Biotin labeled at various concentration. Streptavidin-HRP was used to develop the luminescence signal. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
