Eotaxin 1 is produced by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, alveolar macrophages and eosinophils. CCL11 is involved in allergic reactions by inducing chemotaxis of white blood cells. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-97 from porcine Eotaxin 1, expressed in Pichia pastoris Molecular Weight: ~8.4kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
