IFN gamma is a multipotent cytokine, has a broad range of regulatory functions during virus induced host immune response. IFN gamma promotes a Th1-type immune response in CD4+ and CD8+T cells and influences differentiation of T cells (Ochi et al. 2008) Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-167 from feline IFN gamma, expressed in Pichia pastoris Molecular Weight: ~17.0kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
