Cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes. It is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-89 from human Cornifin-A, fused to 10X His-Tag at N-terminal and Myc-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~17.3kD Amino Acid Sequence: MNSQQQKQPCTPPPQPQQQQVKQPCQPPPQEPCIPKTKEPCHPKVPEPCHPKVPEPCQPKVPEPCQPKVPEPCPSTVTPAPAQQKTKQK Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C.
