Product Description

Endothelins are endothelium-derived vasoconstrictor peptides. Probable ligand for G-protein coupled receptors EDNRA and EDNRB which activates PTK2B, BCAR1, BCAR3 and, GTPases RAP1 and RHOA cascade in glomerular mesangial cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa53-73 from rat Endothelin-1, fused to hFC-Myc-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in Mammalian cell. Molecular Weight: ~30.2kD Amino Acid Sequence: CSCSSLMDKECVYFCHLDIIW Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
