Integrin alpha-V:beta-8 (ITGAV:ITGB8) is a receptor for fibronectin. It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in its ligands. Integrin alpha-V:beta-6 (ITGAV:ITGB6) mediates R-G-D-dependent release of transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-beta-1) from regulatory Latency-associated peptide (LAP), thereby playing a key role in TGF-beta-1 activation on the surface of activated regulatory T-cells (Tregs). Required during vasculogenesis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to rabbit Integrin beta-8, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in Yeast. Molecular Weight: ~30.4kD Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
