Lasicicol (nordinone) is a member of the radicicol class of resorcyclic acid lactones first reported by Aver and Pena-Rodriguez, University of Alberta, Canada in 1987. Lasicicol is a minor metabolite of Monocillium sp. Lack of availability has limited investigation into this presumed phytotoxic metabolite.
