Activin RIB, also known as activin-like kinase 4 (ALK-4), is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase that complexes with Activin type II receptors, Activin RII or Activin RIIB, to form the heteromeric signaling complex. Several members of the TGF-beta family, including the various Activins, Nodal, and GDF-1, have been shown to signal via the Activin RIB and Activin RII/IIB complex. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
