Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is a purine catabolic enzyme ubiquitous in mammalian tissue. In vitro it catalyzes deamination of both adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine to inosine and 2-deoxyinosine respectively. Activity: 15units/mg Unit Definition: 1 unit converts 1µmole of adenosine to inosine per minute 25C, pH 7.4. Quality Control: SDS-PAGE Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C.
