ARL4A, also known as ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 4A, is a member of the ARF-like protein (ARL) subfamily of small GTPases. It is most closely related to ARL6 and ARL7. Unlike ARFs, ARL4 does not activate the cholera toxin ADP-ribosyltranferase. This protein may play a role in neurogenesis during embryonic development and somitogenesis in the early stages of adult spermatogenesis. Purified by using conventional chromatography. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-200 of human ARL4A, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
