Akt2 is inactive and can be activated by upstream kinase PDK1. Source: fusion protein in Sf9 cell Purity: Purified. 90% by SDS-PAGE. Form: Suppliedd as aliquid in 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 3mM DTT, 50% glycerol. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
