Excitation Wavelength: 495nm Emission Wavelength: 528nm Fluorochrome/Protein Ratio: ~1.6 moles FITC per mole of BSA Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months at -20C after receipt. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O prior to use. To avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot reconstituted stock solution and store at -20C. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Purity: Purified by delipidation, salt fractionation, selective precipitation. IEP Assay shows a single precipitin arc against anti-fluorescein and anti-bovine serum.
