Recombinant PTP-Bas, catalytic domain, aa2091-2490 (catalytic domain), with N-terminal GST tag, expressed in an E. coli. Specific Activity: As Reported Application: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, regulation and to dephosphorylate target substrates. Enzyme Assay Buffer and Substrate: 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 2 mM EDTA, 3 mM DTT, 100 mM NaCl, 50mM pNPP. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
