A protected, cross-linking, biotin-labeled compound used as an exofacial probe for the human erythrocyte glucose transport system. The compound is impermeable and photolabeling can be confined to the discrete plasma membrane pool of glucose transporters. Solubility: Chloroform, DMSO Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
