Human Her 2 (GenBank Accession No. X03363), (aa679-1255) with N-terminal GST tag, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: 40pmole/min/ug Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will transfer 1 pmol phosphate to Tyr substrate per minute at pH 7.4 and 30C. Assay Buffer: 50mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 3mM MgCl2, 3mM MnCl2, 1mM DTT, 3uM Na orthovanadate, 0.1mM ATP, 30ug/ml Poly (Glu:Tyr) 4:1 substrate, and 10ug/ml recombinant Her2. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt.
