Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is synthesized during development in the fetal gut and is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA or antigenic applications in immunological protocols. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
