Product Description

Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa18-333 of human cathepsin L with C-terminal HIS tag expressed in FreeStyle 293-F cells (NM_001912). Specific Activity: 3900pmol/min/ug Assay condition: 50mM MES, pH 5.5, 5mM DTT, 10uM substrate (Z-Leu-Arg-AMC), 30 minutes at RT. Applications: Suitable for use in activation of DPP1 (Cathepsin C). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
