Product Description

Source: Recombinant corresponding to human cathepsin V, CD33 signal peptide(aa1-16), cathepsin V (aa18-334) with C-terminal HIS tag expressed in FreeStyle 293-F cells (NM_001333.2). Specific Activity: 436pmol/min/ug. Assay Condition: 25mM sodium acetate, pH 5.5, 0.1M sodium chloride, 5mM DTT, 25uM substrate (Z-Leu-Arg-AMC) for 5 minutes at RT. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
