PTPRC (CD45) contains an extracellular domain, a single transmembrane segment and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains and thus belongs to receptor type PTP. This gene is specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells. PTPRC has been shown to be an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling. It functions through either direct interaction with components of the antigen receptor complexes, or by activating various Src family kinases required for the antigen receptor signaling. Protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45, also known as PTPRC (Accession NM_080922), catalytic domain, aa632-1304 (end) with N-terminal His-tag, MW=81kD, expressed in a Baculovirus Sf9 expression system. Application: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Specific Activity: As Reported Assay buffer: 20mM HEPES, pH 7.2, 100mM sodium chloride, 2mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 1mM PNPP, 20 min at RT. Absorbance was measured at 405nm. Specific activity was calculated based on pnp =18,000M-1cm-1 Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
