Product Description

MaxLight(TM)550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)546, 555, DyLight(TM)549 , Cy3(TM), TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm), Emission (575nm), Extinction Coefficient 150,000. CD49d, also known as integrin alpha 4, is a 150kD transmembrane glycoprotein, which may be cleaved to form 70kD and 80kD fragments. CD49d is expressed on a broad range of cells including lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and thymocytes. The CD49d molecule forms heterodimers with either integrin Beta 1 (to form VLA-4) or beta 7 (to form alpha4 beta7), which mediate cell adhesion to VCAM-1 and fibronectin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen), and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
