Human CD50 is an adhesion molecule that interacts with LFA-1 (CD18/CD11a) and provides a costimulatory signal for T cells which is thought to be essential for initiation of immune responses. Functional Applications: Antibody blocks binding of CD11a (LFA-1) to CD50 (ICAM-3) Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only pror to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
