Human CD53 is a tetraspan cell surface glycoprotein found on all hemopoetic cells except platelets and red blood cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured human Jurkat cells per tube were incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of C2408-11G at 5ug/ml. 2. Washed cells twice and incubated with IgG (FITC) goat anti-mouse. 3. Cells were washed three times, fixed and anakyzed by FACS. 4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.03 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a mouse IgG2b negative control at a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
