Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10. Fix for 10 min in pure acetone, followed by incubation for 10 min in chloroform. Immunocytochemistry: 1:10. Fix with 1% paraformaldehyde. Prior to staining, cultured endothelial cells or a small fresh skin biopsy can be incubated for 4 hours with TNF-alpha (1ng/ml), IL-1 (100U/ml) or LPS (1ug/ml) in tissue culture medium at 37C. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
