MaxLight(TM)490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight(TM)488, Alexa Fluor(TM)488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm), Emission (515nm), Extinction Coefficient 73,000. CD62L is expressed on most peripheral blood T cells, B cells, some NK cells, monocytes and neutrophils. CD62L is also expressed on some splenic lymphocytes, bone marrow lymphocytes and myeloid cells, thymocytes and certain hematopoietic malignant cells. CD62L acts as the peripheral lymph node homing receptor, mediates lymphocytes homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) of peripheral lymphoid tissue and leukocytes rolling on activated endothelium at inflammatory sites. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Positive Control Tissue: Human Tonsil. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
